A postdoctoral position is available in the time-resolved Structural Biology Group in the Laboratory of Biomolecular Research (LBR) at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI).
Tasks:
- Evaluation of time-resolved crystallographic data
- Development of methods to connect structural intermediates by molecular simulations
- Serial crystallographic data collection and analysis
- General support of these areas at leadXpro, LBR, SLS and SwissFEL
Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed PhD in Biochemistry, Biology or Physics with additional post-doctoral education seen as an extra qualification.
- The ideal candidate is an experienced X-Ray crystallographer with a track record of successful structure determination.
- Knowledge in quantum chemical or molecular dynamic simulations documented by scientific publications, knowledge of time-resolved spectroscopy and structural biology of membrane proteins is a plus.
Duration: limited to 2 years
