Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced scientific Research invites applications from Indian Nationals for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow to be placed at Neutron and Muon Facilities, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), UK, under the Mission on Nano Science & Technology (Nano-Mission) of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must hold a PhD degree in Science or Engineering with very good academic record and have interests in using neutron and MuSR techniques in Nano Science and Technology.
- Applicant must have some experience in diffraction/scattering techniques with Synchrotron X-ray or Neutron sources and/or MuSR techniques.
- Applicant should be below 40 years of age and have evident capabilities in the relevant areas.
Duration: 01 year
Starting date: January 01, 2020
Fellowship value: consolidated monthly stipend of £2000 per month (inclusive of subsistence allowance).
