The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity (Department for Socio-Cultural Diversity) has opening for highly qualified candidates for a number of research positions at the postdoctoral level.
Research areas (related to European or African contexts):
- pro-diversity policies and practices,
- organisations, institutions and diversity,
- diversification and socio-demographic structures in cities
Duration: 03 years
Requirements:
- Applicants should have a degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Geography, or an interdisciplinary degree with a strong foundation in those disciplines.
- Applicant must have research interests and experience and publications relevant to themes and topics within the Department for Socio-Cultural Diversity.
- Applications are open to researchers with either/both quantitative and qualitative research skills and experience.
- Applicants need to have submitted their PhD-thesis by 15 March 2020.
- Applicant must possess very good spoken and written English.
