The University of Luxembourg has the following vacancy in the Department of Mathematics of its Faculty of Science, Technology, and Medicine: 2-year fixed-term contract (extendable up to 5 years)

Responsibility

  1. Research in one or more of the following topics: aggregation function theory, functional equations, discrete mathematics, Boolean functions and applications
  2. Teaching activity (up to 90 hours/year), tutoring of students, possible supervising of bachelor or master theses

Requited qualification

  • PhD degree in Mathematics
  • Research experience in at least one of the above mentioned topics
  • Very good written and oral English skills, knowledge of French being an asset
