Postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics/Biology 1594 views

The Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics/Biology. The unit is headed by its director Prof. Emmanuelle Charpentier, looking for a full time Postdoc with excellent skills and knowledge in the field of Next Generation Sequencing technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Applicant must hold PhD in biology/biochemistry
  • Applicant must have some proven track record in next generation sequencing data analysis and record of successful publications in highly respected international scientific journals
  • Applicant must possess fluency in English language
  • Applicants with experience in working abroad would be considered as an advantage

Duration: initially 3 years; possibility of an extension after evaluation.
