Postdoctoral position: Biomedical Innovation Law 615 views

The Centre for Advanced Studies in Biomedical Innovation Law (CeBIL), Faculty of Law at University of Copenhagen is inviting applications to appoint a postdoctoral researcher for a fully funded three (3)-year period. Candidate should have innovative and original ideas. CeBIL explores legal challenges and rapid developments in the biotechnological area (broadly defined).

Duration: 3 years

Starting date: 1 July 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter

Responsibilities:

  • develop and execute high-level research projects independently;
  • coordinate development and execution of research projects in collaboration with other CeBIL researchers;
  • develop the academic field to the highest international level, including participation in international seminars and conferences;
  • contribute actively to the work of CeBIL and of the CeBIL research community;
  • participate in knowledge dissemination activities and debate with the general public; and
  • manage and develop research-based teaching with associated examination and administrative duties, including supervision of bachelor’s and master’s students.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in law or in another social science discipline (provided that the applicant can also document sufficient qualifications in law and experience in legal research).
  • Applicant is expected to be able to use English as the working language (written and spoken).
  • Applicant must demonstrate a clear potential to deliver high-quality, peer-reviewed research publications.

  5. Publication list (numbered and with co-author declarations attached, if relevant),
  6. Teaching portfolio (including documentation of teaching qualifications as well as a brief statement of the applicant’s teaching visions within the research area)
  7. Reference list, if available (please upload under “other relevant material”)
  8. Copies of publications (a maximum of five (5) publications, including the applicant’s PhD or JSD thesis and a maximum of one (1) monograph).
