A postdoctoral position is available as part of the Centre for Leverhulme Research Centre for Functional Materials
- Design (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/leverhulme-research-centre). The post will focus on the development of software to control autonomous robots for the discovery of new materials.

Eligibility Criteria
- A developer of software who is interested in moving into the robotics field?
- A computer scientist who is looking to translate new methods into robotics problems?
- These are just three examples of possible backgrounds that might fit with this role; we are open-minded and will provide the necessary training in any areas that are not covered by the successful candidate’s previous experience.
- The project will be supervised by Professor Andrew Cooper FRS and it will be based in the Materials Innovation Factory and the Autonomous Chemistry Laboratory
- A robotics researcher with a strong background in software?
