One postdoctoral position is immediately available in Dr. Xi Chen’s laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Davis.
The focus of the laboratory is using enzymatic and synthetic approaches to study problems in biological systems.
The position will focus on cloning, biochemical characterization, crystal structure and mutagenesis studies of glycosyltransferases and other glycan biosynthetic enzymes.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree. Candidates with strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or enzymology are encouraged to apply.
