  • The goal of the project is the development of lead compounds against new nociceptor-selective protein targets suitable for pain therapy.
  • Successful candidates will develop novel approaches for the selection of small molecules from encoded combinatorial libraries (phage display, DNA display) that specifically bind to complex protein targets.
  • The project is part of a long-term collaboration with groups from Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with previous experiences with encoded combinatorial libraries (phage display or DNA display), or in the fields of protein engineering and chemical biology.
