The Laboratory for Cellular Metabolism and Metabolic Regulation at KU Leuven is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position. A young and dynamic team of researchers is performing cutting edge cancer metabolism research with special focus on cancer metastasis and novel metabolic pathways.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have a strong background (PhD) in cell signaling.
- Applicant must possess a strong expertise in dissecting signaling cascades (a background on mTOR is a plus), and must have successfully applied state-of-the-art genetic engineering technologies (such as CRISPR/CAS9)
- Applicant must have expertise in molecular biology techniques including but not limited to western blot, qPCR, FACS, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and cell culture techniques.
- Expertise in mouse models, cancer, the tumor microenvironment, and/or immunology is a plus.
