Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) is inviting applications for Senior Post-Doctoral position related to printed electronic devices based on two-dimensional (2D) crystals. The main objectives of the research are the understanding of conductive antennas on different flexible substrates for RFID applications and the integration of 2d crystal layers into organic solar cells.
The selected scholar will join the Graphene Lab of IIT in Genova, will work in a multidisciplinary environment offering lab facilities for the production of 2D-crystal-based inks, their optical or electrical and morphological characterization, and with access to different types of deposition and coating techniques, also in association with private companies and partner institutions.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must have PhD in Material Science/Chemistry/Physics and at least 2 years of postdoc research experience.
- Confirmed proficiency in printing technologies, solution processing of 2-D crystals and photo-voltaics will be considered an advantage.
- Remuneration and benefits are in line with international standards.
Applications:
- Send applications with cover letter, Resume and 2 reference letters to applications@iit.it.
- Cite “Senior Post Doc on printed electronics based on 2D crystals CB 71842” in the subject line.
IIT was recognized in 2003 and successfully created a large-scale infrastructure in Genova and a network of 10 state-of-the-art laboratories countrywide. IIT’s research attempt focuses on high-tech and invention, representing the forefront of technology with possible application from medicine to industry, computer science, robotics, life sciences and nano-biotechnologies.
