The Radboud Institute of Health Sciences, Radboudumc, is offering Hypatia Tenure Track Fellowship Grant in  ‘modeling and simulation’ . The grant can be taken in the Netherlands.

Level of study: Research

Subject area: Modeling and Simulation. The subject is further divided in two broad categories as follows:

  • Personalized risk-based cancer screening and follow- up
  • Health care models as a means to provide decision makers with quantitative information
Scholarship Value: 1 million Euros
Duration: 4 years

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply

Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be:

  • Enthusiastic, skilled, and proactive researcher.
  • The applicant should have a degree in either:
  1. Medical informatics
  2. Health economics
  3. Econometrics or a similar discipline
  • The candidate should show an interest in the building and application of micro simulation models, early cycle health economic modeling and optimization of early detection strategies in health care.
  • The applying candidates/ individuals should be excellent researchers.
  • He/She should have preferably obtained their PhD degree within the last 8 years.
  • The candidate must have at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience and at least 6 months of international experience.
  • A proven research track record would be required
  • The applicant should demonstrate interest and motivation for applied research in one of the Radboudumc research themes.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English is usually required to provide proof of proficiency in English.
