Procedure for nomination and selection of Ramanujan, Ramalingaswami, DST Inspire faculty fellowship at NIPER-Ahmedabad

Application Procedure:

  1. Interested candidates who wish to apply for DST INSPIRE faculty fellowship/ / DBT-Wellcome trust fellowship schemes/DBT Ramalingaswami Fellowship/ DST Ramanujan Fellowship etc., under nominations routes with NIPER-Ahmedabad and the awardees of the above fellowships who are interested to work at NIPER.
  2. Ahmedabad can submit online application (i.e. Application for Research Staff/Faculty- Group A category).
  3. This is a rolling advertisement and the applications will be reviewed as per the requirements of the concerned departments or facilities available at regular intervals.

Selection Process:

All applications should be submitted will be forwarded to the concerned Department. The following steps are adopted for the evaluation of the applicants.

1: A group of faculty members of the concerned area of specialization gives their recommendation on the suitability of the candidate.

2: The candidates recommended by the group are called for an interactive seminar/ skype presentation (for candidates outside India).

3: Recommendation letters are sought from the referees of those candidates who are identified after the seminar.

4: The Department shortlists the candidates on the basis of the application, faculty inputs, seminar/skype presentation and referee comments.

5: The shortlisted candidates are called for final interview by the Institute selection committee.
