The Climate Variability Prediction and Application Research Group (CVPARG), Application Laboratory (APL)] at Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) invites applications for recruitment of a Project Scientist or Project Technical Scientist.

Research fields:

• Climate Science
• Meteorology
• Oceanography
• Statistical Analyses
• Computer Science

Requirements:

• Applicant must have completed a Ph.D. and have a strong enough record to be a scientist in a closely related research field.
• Statistical skills for climate data analyses are essential.
• Persons of any nationality and either gender are encouraged to apply.

Duration: October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
