The Institute of Applied Geometry at Johannes Kepler University, Linz/Austria, has several openings for postdoctoral research assistants (fixed-term contract for 1 year).
Requirements:
- PhD degree in mathematics, computer science, or a closelyr elated field is required.
- The working language is English.
- Candidates with a strong background in at least one of the fields of Geometric Modeling and Numerical Analysis are encouraged to apply. Expertise on Isogeometric Analysis is particularly welcome.
- The research assistants will work in several national and European research projects, which are funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) through the National Research Network NFN ”Geometry + Simulation” and by an European Horizon 2020 ERC Advanced Grant.
