The University of Luxembourg invites application for the Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SNT) for a Research Associate (Postdoc) in Applied Cryptography (M/F)
Duration: Fixed Term Contract; 30 months (CDD)

Supervisor: SnT/Cryptolux group led by Prof. Alex Biryukov
Research areas:
- Applied symmetric cryptography
- Crypto-currencies, blockchains, financial cryptography
- Privacy enhancing technologies
- Disseminating results through scientific publications
- Attracting funding in cooperation with industrial partners
- Coordinating research projects and delivering outputs
- Implementing real-time solutions and PoCs
- Providing guidance to PhD and MSc students
- Organizing relevant workshops and demonstrations
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field
- Applicant must hold competitive research record (publications at top conferences) and must hold strong mathematical background, development skills in one of the: C++/ python/ Java
- Applicant must possess experience with block chains, smart contracts, PETs; European projects (FP7/H2020)
- Applicant must possess fluency in English (written and verbal communication)
