The Geology & Geochemistry (G&G) research group of the Department of Earth Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites online applications from experienced researcher for filling up the research position in archaeological and forensic isotope biogeochemistry.

About the Position: Selected candidates will be involved in applying radiogenic (Sr-Pb) and stable (H-C-N-O) isotopes to active police case work and archaeological research questions pertaining to human palaeomobility and palaeodiet.

Position: Ph.D./Postdoc

Duration: 1 year, the contract will be extended for a duration of 3 or 4 years

Location: AMSTERDAM.

Salary: €2.709 (schaal 10) up to a maximum of  €4.274.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have MSc degree or PhD with a strong background in the physical sciences and training in analytical techniques and/or biology/geology/archaeology. Candidates must be fluent in English.
