Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI) invites applications for the post of Postdoctoral fellow.

Qualifications:

• Applicant must hold PhD degree in Molecular biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related areas.

About the position/Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Screening, isolation, identification and modification of novel industrially relevant cellulolytic enzymes for higher cellulase activities comparable with globally available enzymes in the market for the conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to ethanol.
• Able to formulate plan and conduct research with defined objectives and outcomes within budget and time constraints.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be young researcher with an evident experience in molecular biology, especially over expression of clone gene and its characterization with outstanding publications
• Applicant must demonstrate excellent team work capacity, communication skills, flexible with personal initiative and ability to innovate.

Salary: Negotiable based on expertise and experience

Duration: up to 3 years
