National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR), (Indian Council of Medical Research): Applications are invited for the following posts of Scientist’B’-3 Posts (UR-1, OBC-1,SC-1) at National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR), Delhi in the Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus usual allowance as admissible as per rules at ICMR/ NIMR.

Position 1. Scientist’B'(Medical) -One Post(UR)

Essential Qualification:

  1. MBBS recognized by MCI
  2. 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognised University

Position  2. Scientist ‘B'(Non-Medical)-1 Post(SC)

Essential Qualification:

  1. 1st class Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Life Science/Zoology/Genetics/ Biotechnology/Microbiology) from a recognized University OR
  2. 2nd Class M.Sc.+Ph.D degree out of above subjects from a recognised University.

Position 3. Scientist ‘B'(Non-Medical)-1 Post( OBC)

Essential Qualification:

  1. 1st class Master’s degree in Sociology from a recognized University OR
  2. 2nd Class M.Sc.+Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognised University.

Desirable qualifications:

  1. MD in the related subjects(Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Medicine, Public Health) from a recognized university for candidate with first class relevant degree OR
  2. Doctorate in Vector Biology/Control of malaria, other Vector Borne Diseases/Molecular Parasitology/Molecular Epidemiology/Sociobehavioral research in VBD/Clinical Trials.
  3. Additional Postdoc research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognised institute (s)
  4. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management
  5. 2 years R&D/Teaching experienc in
    1. Vector Biology
    2. Control of malaria,
    3. Vector Borne Diseases
    4. Molecular Parasitology
    5. Molecular Epidemiology
    6. Socio behavioral research in VBD/Clinical Trials after obtaining essential qualification.
