Senior Scientist in Materials Chemistry 1002 views

University of Vienna is inviting applications for a post of Senior Scientist at the Department of Materials Chemistry (Reference number: 9556).  The selected senior scientist, will focus on manipulation and characterisation of turbulent flow by polymeric drag reducing agents. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to aim for a habilitation. This is a temporary position for one year with the option to be transfered into a permanent position.

About the position:

• The candidate will be involved in manipulation and characterisation of turbulent flow by polymeric drag reducing agents.
• Furthermore, the candidate will be involved in teaching of physical chem¡stry in accordance to the “Kollektivertrag”. Studierendenbetreuung.

Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in fluid mechanics, turbulence and the development of scientific equipment, capacity for teamwork.
