The Faculty of Science – Van’t Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences (HIMS) invites applications for several PhD positions.

• Biocatalysis
• Computational Chemistry
• Computational Polymer Chemistry
• Heterogeneous Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry
• Homogeneous, Supramolecular and Bio-Inspired Catalysis
• Industrial Sustainable Chemistry
• Molecular Photonics
• Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold Master’s degree in chemistry or related science.
• For all groups the ability to collaborate and adapt in an international team is highly preferable.
• Applicant must possess good communication skills in oral and written English.
• Due to limitations in recruitment budget we will only consider candidates that are currently in Europe.

Duration: 4 years (initial appointment will be for a period of 18 months and after satisfactory evaluation this can be extended to a total duration of 4 years)
