SFB 829, funded by the German Research Foundation has 6 PhD Student positions (65%, German TV-L E13, m/f) and 5 Postdocs positions (100%, German TV-L E13, m/f).

1. Cologne Cluster of Excellence in Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-associated Diseases (CECAD) Research Center: Centrosomes in mammalian skin epithelial cell fate decisions, 1 PhD student position available immediately. PI: Hisham Bazzi
2. Clinic and Polyclinic for Dermatology and Venerology: Vitamin D regulation of the skin innate immune response, 1 PhD student position starting in October 2017. PI: Mario Fabri
3. Cologne Biocenter: Genetic analysis of epidermal development and homeostasis in zebrafish, 1 PhD student position and 1 Postdoc position available immediately. PI: Matthias Hammerschmidt
4. Cologne Cluster of Excellence in Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-associated Diseases (CECAD) Research Center: The role of DNA damage and repair in skin aging, 1 Postdoc position available immediately. PI: Jan Hoeijmakers

7. Cologne Cluster of Excellence in Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-associated Diseases (CECAD) Research Center: UV-induced DNA damage in photoaging and skin homeostasis, 1 PhD student position or 1 Postdoc position available immediately. PI: Björn Schumacher
8. Insitute for Vegetative Physiology: Maintenance of mitochondrial integrity in epidermal stem cells, 1 Postdoc position available immediately. PI: Rudolf Wiesner
