SwissFEL Nanoengineering Group is looking for a Postdoc Fellow in experimental physics

Tasks Involved

The successful candidate will engage in further development of the ALD method & its integration in automated protein crystal harvesting & delivery. Participation in the X-Ray crystallography experiments at macromolecular crystallography beamlines (using installed ALD). The candidate will also document & present the scientific results in conferences or as publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications / Requirements

1. PhD degree in experimental physics, electronic engineering, biophysical analytics or in a related field.
2. Experience in construction of experimental setup (hardware and software), conducting experiments,
3. Good communication and writing skills in English.

Fellowship Benefits

1. Employment contract is limited to one year initially with the possibility for extension of another year.
2. Fellowships will be as per Institutes regulations.
