SWUFE Presidents Full Scholarship: SWUFE President’s Full Scholarship

The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is one of the top university specialising in finance, economics, and business. It is located in Chengdu, the engine-city for the development of Western China and the fourth-largest aviation hub in China.

SWUFE provides Full as well as Partial Scholarships.

The scholarship aims at providing full and partial financial aid to Non-Chinese students.

Level of study:  Bachelor, Master and PhD program

Subject areas:  subjects offered by the university

Scholarship Award details: SWUFE provides Full and Partial Scholarships. Partial Scholarship only includes tuition.

Full Scholarship includes: –

• Tuition: Waived
• Accommodation on campus: RMB 500-800/month (Different types of dormitory)
• Living allowance:

1. RMB 1200/month for bachelor students,
2. RMB 1500/month for master students and
3. RMB 1800/month for PhD students.

• Medical insurance: Waived

The availability of scholarships depends on the merit of the application/ candidate.

According to the situation of effective application, quota and type of scholarships would be decided by the CIE each year.

Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport,
• The applicants must be in good health
• The candidates should abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and local governments, as well as the regulations of SWUFE
• Applicants for bachelor degree studies must have a graduate certificate from high schools
• Applicants for master’s degree studies must have a bachelor’s degree
• Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have a master’s degree
• Applicants must meet all requirements of the majors, including academic level, research ability, language level and others.
• The maximum age of applicants is:

1. 30 years for a bachelor’s degree program,
2. 35 years of age for a master’s degree program, and
3. 40 years of age for a PhD program;

• Applicants must not be availing any other type of scholarship.
• The applicant must fulfil the minimum language requirement:

1. Language of instruction in Chinese: HSK 4
2. Language of instruction in English: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80

• The referee should be professor or associate professor or person with the relevant academic titles.
• Copy of a language certificate
• Medical Examination Report (not older than 1 year)
