Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) invites applications for the Tenure track Postdoctoral fellow position in Water and Environmental Technology.

Duration: 6 years

  • Research activities

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold an academically relevant PhD degree obtained no longer than 5 years ago (since defense).
  • Applicant must possess documented skills to write high quality scientific publications within the fields of water treatment, colloid transport and health risk assessment; knowledge on water infrastructure, climate change and urban hydrology modeling; interest and documented experience from teaching and supervision within the topics described above.
  • Applicant must be knowledgeable of programming and applied mathematics

Personal skills requirements:

  • Dedication, structured and quality oriented.
  • Keen interest in teaching and supervision of students.
  • Able to adapt socially, to work together with others in team and to contribute to a good working environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to teach and supervise in a Scandinavian language within two years after employment.

Salary:

  • The position is placed in government pay scale position code 1352 Postdoctoral Fellow, wage framework 24 (salary grade 57-67), depending on qualifications. Seniority Promotion in position.
