Duration: fixed-term up to 5 years
Salary: falls under group 13 TV-L FU
About the job:
- Selected candidate will carry out research on a systematic topic of theoretical philosophy and contribute to the department’s teaching in theoretical philosophy.
- Selected fellow will have some administrative tasks within the department.
- The position is intended for the successful candidate’s further academic qualification.
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold PhD on a systematic topic in theoretical philosophy.
Desirable:
- AOS in analytic metaphysics, epistemology, or philosophy of language connected to ongoing philosophical debates
- Must possess strong command of English; fluency in German or willingness to learn German upon starting the position
- a publication record (or preparations for publications) that is appropriate for the applicant’s career stage
- the ability to work in a team, commitment to teaching, and the ability to work independently
