University of Edinburgh is offering an ambitious new postdoctoral fellowship scheme “TRAIN@Ed”. The scheme will be providing researchers from around the world the opportunity to develop their career in one of the world’s leading universities. TRAIN@Ed is a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND scheme.

Duration: 3 years

Number of fellowships: The TRAIN@Ed project will recruit 25 fellows from around the world

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have completed PhD or have 4 years of research experience.
  • Applicants must, at the date of the application deadline (31 October 2019), have no more than ten years’ experience since defending their PhD (career breaks for parental leave, sickness absence or army service are excluded)
  • Applicant must fulfill mobility criterion: Researchers may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the date of call deadline.
