The The Department of Molecular Medicine at Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry is seeking two Post-doctoral applicants (m/f/d) to support projects aimed at studying the endosomal transport and stability of integrins; the role of integrins in healthy and malignant hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
About the positions:
Position 1: candidate must be highly motivated candidate with a strong background in cell biology and biochemistry, with in depth experience in analyzing protein interactions; microscope techniques and excellent skills in spoken as well as written English.
Position 2: candidate must be highly motivated candidate with a strong background in hematology, oncology or immunology, with in depth experience in isolation/culture/analysis of HSCs; flow cytometry and cell sorting; with animal models, mouse handling, and mouse genetics; single cell RNA sequencing and excellent skills in spoken as well as written English.
Duration: The initial contract will be for two years, with the possibility for extension.
