The University of Luxembourg offers Postdoc position in Psychology. The university is multilingual, international research University. The University of Luxembourg is looking within its FLSHASE, RU ECCS for a Postdoc in Psychology (M/F)

Duration: 12 months as of 1st March 2017 (Fixed-term); Full-time

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out research in the field of developmental psychology
  • Develop literacy and language learning activities for Portuguese-speaking language minority children
  • Develop language assessment tools in Portuguese
  • Liaise with schools and other professionals
  • Deliver cognitive assessments to children in preschool settings
  • Publish articles in scientific reviews and contribute to conferences;
  • Manage research teams
  • Mentor PhD candidates
  • Be involved in teaching
  • Perform any other tasks within the framework of the post

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold Doctorate degree in Psychology with special focus on language / reading development in children
  • Applicant must have some experience in intervention research (RCT) methodology).
  • Applicant must possess excellent working knowledge in English. Portuguese is considered an advantage
