Overview:

Two funded positions are available in the De Carvalho Lab at Princess Margaret Cancer Center/University of Toronto.

About the position:

  • The focus of the projects are in transnational cancer genomics, with multiple projects available in Methyl me profiling of cancer cells and circulating cell-free DNA (‘liquid biopsy’) for cancer classification, early detection and disease monitoring; Cancer Geneticist therapy to target cancer stem cells and to increase anti-tumor immune response.
  • The projects will include genomics approaches such as Chip set, ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, RRBS, and WGBS among others and functional approaches such as CRISPR screening.

Eligibility criteria:

  • PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, bio statistics, cancer biology epigenomics, genomics, or a related field.
