Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the Post of Lecturer in Chemical Engineering (Vacancy no. 18091803522) under the administration of UT of Daman and Diu, Technical Education Department (Government Polytechnic Daman).
Remuneration: PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100/- plus AGP Rs. 5400/- (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56792/- p.m. approximately)
Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years (max. 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates)
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology with first class from a recognized university.
- If the candidate has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, first class is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Role and responsibilities:
- Teaching Diploma Engineering subjects including Lectures, Practical and Tutorials.
- Students Assessment and Evaluation including Examination work. Planning and Implementation of Instructions in class rooms/ Laboratories for benefits of students.
- Developing Resource Material and participating in curricula & Co-curricular activities.
- Student’s guidance and counseling for their better career development in Technical Education.
Probation: One year
