VOSS Postdoctoral Research Associate Program 2020, Brown University
Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES) seeks candidates for one or more distinguished postdoc positions in any field of study relevant to environmental research. Voss postdoctoral research associates conduct independent research, but are mentored by one or more IBES affiliated faculty. These faculty members have expertise in a wide variety of disciplines like: Anthropology, Biogeochemistry, Climate Modeling, Ecology, Economics, Environmental History, Epidemiology, Hydrology, and Sociology.
Fellowships: Salary of $60,000, plus benefits and a discretionary fund of $2,000/year in addition to any research funds that may be directed to the project by mentors.
Required QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITERIA
- PhD. in a field to the study relevant to environmental research,
- Ability to take initiative and work independently,
- Interest in contributing to a dialog across disciplinary boundaries, and the support of an IBES faculty mentor.
