Wellbeing of Women Charity offers Research Training Fellowships to encourage medical graduates to follow a career in academic medicine.
Subject areas:
Basic Science, Clinical or Translational research including the following areas:
- Gynecological cancers
- Pregnancy and birth, including preterm birth, miscarriage and fertility
- General wellbeing issues, including menopause, incontinence and prolapse, sexual health, menstrual disorders and endometriosis
Location: Research Training Fellowship, to be undertaken in the UK or Ireland
Duration: up to 3 years; cover the cost of a full time salary per annum.
Requirements:
- Selected fellows will be expected to enroll for a higher degree.
- Applicant must have been accepted for a place in a department with established expertise in the above mentioned field.
- Applicants must also provide proof of previous interest and a training component in research methodology.
- Both the training and research project must be capable of being brought to a conclusion within the duration of the Fellowship.
