Centre for Nano and Material Sciences, Jain University has hosted a broad range of research investigations in the frontier areas of Chemistry operated by a group of highly skilled faculty members. Nano Science, Catalysis, Nano-structured Hybrid Functional Materials, Bioinorganic, Clinical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Drug Discovery, Heterogeneous Catalysis for Energy (H2 production), Medicinal and Organometallic Chemistry are the major areas of our research concerns. CNMS is offering Master of Science in Chemistry 2 years (4 semesters) degree programme. This M.Sc Chemistry programme aims to provide a high quality education in Chemistry. The course is designed to develop academic talent leading to challenging and rewarding professional life. The programme is designed to provide an interdisciplinary and an applied platform to develop their professional life. Though the core branches of chemistry such as Organic, Inorganic and Physical are the main focus of the course, other emerging topics, such as Nanotechnology, Environmental Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Bio-analytical Chemistry, and other interface branches are also added to expose students to new and exciting trends in present day research along with thorough fundamental knowledge of Chemistry.

List of shortlisted candidates will be made available on CNMS website. Only the candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be eligible to take admission for M.Sc Chemistry Programme. Option 1 – Online application formThe application form can be filled online on payment of INR 800/-. Upon filling the form, an application number will be generated. A print copy of the filled application form along with the application number should be maintained for all future correspondence.

Option 2 – Collect the application form in person

The application form can be collected in person on payment of INR 800/- in cash or a DD of INR 800/- in favour of Jain University payable at Bangalore from Jain University – Centre for Nano & Material Sciences, Jain Global Campus, 45th km, NH – 209, Jakkasandra Post, Bangalore – Kanakapura Main Road, Ramanagara District – 562 112  between 9:30 am to 3.00 pm.

Qualifying Examination Mark sheet

Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)

Option 2 – Courier / Post

The candidates can courier / post the duly filled application form within the stipulated date at the Jain University – Centre for Nano & Material Sciences, Jain Global Campus, 45th km, NH – 209, Jakkasandra Post, Bangalore – Kanakapura Main Road, Ramanagara District – 562 112  with the following documents:

Qualifying Examination Mark sheet

Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)

An acknowledgement slip will be issued to the candidate as a proof for submission. In the case of downloaded application form, the application number will be intimated to the candidate via phone.
