UrFU Golden Scholarship Program for Master and PhD students

The Ural Federal University conducts 75 international scholarships for international students from all over the world covering tuition fees for the full period of MS, MA and PhD studies.

Courses offered: Full-time on-campus (Russia, Ekaterinburg)

Course starts month: September

Field of study:  Master or PhD Degree program / courses offered by Ural Federal University.
Open for: International students

Within the framework of the program, 75 international students will be awarded full tuition waivers for whole period of the Master or PhD studies at the Ural Federal University. During the grant period, the students will be able to receive a regular monthly scholarship, depending on academic performance.

Eligibility of the desired candidates:

1. International students
2. Current UrFU international students can not apply.

 List of the documents required for the Golden Scholarship application:

1. Filled-in application form with a color photo of an applicant attached
2. Copies of the documents of the prior education with a diploma supplement including a list of records and marks. Documents of the prior education must bear a legalization stamp.
3. Copy of the official medical certificate, confirming that there are no precautions for a student to study in Russia
4. Copy of the official medical certificate with the negative result of the HRV|AIDS test
5. Copy of the official medical certificate with positive results of compulsory medical check-up
6. Copy of the passport pages of an applicant. Passport shall be valid at least within 18 months after the applicant’s date of arrival in Russia.
7. Notarized translation of documents, indicated in paragraphs 2, 3 and 5 of the list.
8. Translation of the 1st passport page into Russian with a notarial attestation.

Application Procedure:

Applicant must follow the following steps to apply for grant:

1. Register at the http://russia.study/en
2. Attach a list of scanned documents after completing the registration (the said list is given below)
3. Pass a competitive selection in your country, conducted by respective Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo ( http://rs.gov.ru/en/missions )
4. In your application form you must indicate Ural Federal University as your top priority.
5. Please send your registration number to UrFU manager of your region.
