The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization (MPI-DS) seek to fill a PhD position (m/f/d) in Experimental Active Matter Physics for the Group “Interfaces of complex fluids” of Dr. Stefan Karpitschka.

Requirements:
  • Candidate should have a Master’s degree (or comparable) in Physics or in a related field.
  • Candidate has a background in fluid physics, soft matter, or biophysics. Programming skills and experience with optical techniques and biological specimen are highly desired.

Duration: The PhD position is limited to three years.
