The Department of Machine Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is active in research and education within product realization and is inviting applications for twelve postdoc positions. Specific areas includes Machine elements, Machine Design, Mechatronics and Embedded control systems, Internal Combustion Engines, Integrated product development, Innovation and Industrial Design.
Research areas:
- Industrial transformation through sustainable digitalization.
- Integrated mechanics, components and materials design, including additive manufacturing.
- Sustainable energy systems, infrastructure and business.
- Innovation management, innovation eco-systems and entrepreneurship
Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline, in a topic that is relevant for the proposed research focus.
- Great emphasis will be placed on personal competence and suitability.
- Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English,
- Ability to work independently and collaboration skills,
- Multidisciplinary background and interest,
- Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality and
- Both scientific skills and educational ability.
