ICFO invites applications for a PhD-fellowship in the field of Cell biology of intracellular trafficking. The position is open to a highly motivated candidate who seeks to enhance his/her scientific career and obtain a doctoral degree.
The recipient will work at ICFO under the guidance of Dr. Felix Campelo, as part of the Single Molecule Biophotonics (SMB) research group, headed by Prof. Dr. Maria Garcia-Parajo.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must hold an internationally recognized master’s degree or proof of its completion in the nearest future preferably in cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, experimental physics or related areas.
- Applicant must demonstrate track record of academic excellence.
- Applicants having experience in cell biology, light microscopy and computer programming (ImageJ, Matlab, etc.) will have edge over other applicants.
- Applicants of any nationality or gender may apply for the position.
Duration: initially for 01 year; renewable for a total of up to 04 years.
