International Orange Tulip Master Scholarships

The Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme, organized by gives scholarships to  excellent students coming from Brazil, India, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Korea, Russia or Vietnam, the opportunity to study at Radboud University Nijmegen. Radboud University has a maximum of 41 fellowships available.

Benefits:

  1. The Orange Tulip Scholarship is not a full scholarship and does not include living costs.
  2. You can find an indication of what international students should count on spending for one year of living and studying in the Netherlands, on our website.
  3. The scholarship consists of a reduction of the institutional tuition fee for non-EEA students (to €2,078 in 2019/2020).
  4. Also, visa and residence permit costs, liability insurance and health insurance (Insurance Passport for Students (IPS)) are covered. 

Eligibility requirements In order to be eligible:

  1. You are admitted to a Master’s programme at Radboud University (and at the time of your scholarship application you need to have at least applied)
  2. You must be a citizen of the Neso country and should currently not be studying or working in the Netherlands
  3. You do not have a Dutch Bachelor’s degree from a research university
  4. You have a high level of language proficiency
  5. You have a nationality that does not make you eligible for the lower European tuition fees
  6. You will start with a Master’s programme in September 2019

Selection criteria: Recipients will be selected from the eligible applicants for the Holland Scholarship, based on the following criteria:

  1. the student’s qualifications and talent
  2. the student shows promise and motivation

The Orange Tulip Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Scholarship. You can apply for both, but only one will be granted.

Closing date:

  1. The application deadline for all Orange Tulip Scholarship Programmes is 1 March 2021.
  2. Please note: you must also have completed your application for admission via the online OSIRIS Application system before 1 March 2019.
  3. You will be notified about the scholarship results by the Radboud International Office before 10 May 2019.
  4. The OTS is organised by Nuffic NESO.
