11 PhD Fellowships Materials Science (ICMAB-CSIC): Doctoral Fellowships for International Students at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), Spain

Applications are invited for up to 11 ESR PhD fellowships for a doctoral training program in Functional Advanced Materials.

The aim of program is to foster excellence in researchers’ training, mobility, and career development, spreading the best practices of MSCA actions.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. DOC-FAM doctoral program is open to researchers of any age and nationality.
  2. Mobility: Candidates may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work/ studies) in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years immediately before the call deadline.
  3. ESR criteria: Early-stage researchers (ESR) shall at the call deadline be in the first four (04) years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree.
  4. Full-time equivalent research experience is measured from the date when a researcher obtained the degree which would formally entitle him or her to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the researcher is recruited or seconded, irrespective of whether or not a doctorate is or was ever envisaged.

Fellowships

Duration: Fellows will also enjoy research, training and networking costs related to their participation in the different activities throughout the program (3-5 yeras).

Fellowships / Benefits

  1. Living allowance: EUR 28,800/year
    Mobility allowance: EUR 4,800/year
  2. TOTAL gross salary: EUR 33, 600/year
  3. Research, training and networking costs: EUR 6,000/year
    PhD tuition fees: EUR 600/year

Application Procedure

Each applicant interested in applying in DOC-FAM must register as a user in the online application system.

English is the only accepted language in the program, proposals submitted in any other language will not be considered.
