PhD Scholarship: TEM imaging of Nanowire, DTU Nanotech

PhD scholarship in Live TEM imaging of Nanowire growth and device dynamics at the DTU Nanotech, The Technical University of Denmark

Project Overview (Responsibilities and tasks Involved):

  1. Develop, fabricate, and use microfabricated heater systems at DTU (DTU Danchip cleanroom
  1. Study the processes of III-V nanowire growth with MOVPE-TEM,
  2. Creating nanowire devices while imaging the process in the TEM.
  3. Optical and electrical characterization of the created devices at DTU.

Qualifications and Other requirements

Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or any similar or equivalent academic degree.

Approval and Enrolment: The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes of DTU.

Salary and appointment terms

  1. The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
  2. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
