PhD scholarship in Live TEM imaging of Nanowire growth and device dynamics at the DTU Nanotech, The Technical University of Denmark
Project Overview (Responsibilities and tasks Involved):
- Develop, fabricate, and use microfabricated heater systems at DTU (DTU Danchip cleanroom
- Study the processes of III-V nanowire growth with MOVPE-TEM,
- Creating nanowire devices while imaging the process in the TEM.
- Optical and electrical characterization of the created devices at DTU.
Qualifications and Other requirements
Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or any similar or equivalent academic degree.
Approval and Enrolment: The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes of DTU.

Salary and appointment terms
- The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
- The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 3 years.
