The Department of Computer Science, Chair of Communication Networks at University of Tübingen is looking for a PhD student in Communication Networks (100%, E13 TV-L) at the earliest possible date. The position will initially be offered for two years.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out research projects
• Write project proposals
• Supervise student projects
• Contribute to teaching activities
• The possibility for further qualification (doctoral degree) is offered and encouraged.

Qualifications:

• Applicant must hold Master degree in preferably Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English
• Strong mathematical background and programming skills
• Enthusiasm for leading-edge research and a mix of creativity and persistence
• Team spirit
• Early publications are appreciated
