Science for Life Laboratory at School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health, Stockholm invited online applications from eligible candidate for filling up the position of Postdoc in Regulatory Genomics at Science for Life Laboratory, KTH. Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) is a national center for large-scale life science research with an advanced technological infrastructure.
About the position: This position is available at Pelin Sahlén’s lab, studies functional differences between DNA sequence variants in disease and evolution context. This project will include modelling and machine learning, handling and processing large amounts of interaction, sequence variations and epigenetics data. The goal of this project is to integrate different layers of data to model how sequence variants alter certain processes related to heart disease.
Position: Postdoc

Duration: 2 years at a time
Qualifications: Interested candidates must have PhD degree in physics, biophysics, applied mathematics, computational biology or a related field with Excellent skills in English, both written and spoken. Candidates with qualifications Big data analysis/Machine learning/Mathematical modelling/Bayesian statistical modeling and inference/Experience working within HPC environment/Programming skills in C++, Java or Python will be preferred.
