Postdoc in Biostatistics at CICH-UBC: The Centre for International Child Health (CICH) at BC Children’s Hospital at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for Postdoctoral Fellowship – Global Child Health and Digital Health available in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics with Dr. Mark Ansermino, and the Centre for International Child Health at the Children and Women’s Health Centre of British Columbia with a focus on paediatric, maternal and newborn populations.

About the Position: Selected candidate will work with the Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators, Program Manager, and research staff on related studies. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research and operational management of global health initiatives utilizing digital health technologies in Uganda. They will be responsible for supervision of Canadian and Ugandan research team staff, staff at research hospitals and students.

Location: The Children and Women’s Health Centre of British Columbia

Salary: as per norms

Duration: 1 Year, with the possibility of extension.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health and minimum of two years related experience with ability to be agile and adaptable as the projects evolve in large complex health systems and their health technologies.
