Institute of Environmental Engineering at ETH Zurich invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Micro/nano fabrication for air quality applications.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The tasks include:
- development of accurate, reliable and small on-line sensors for airborne molecular contaminants and particles and development of smart adaptive air cleaning systems
- work on fabrication of micro/nano devices using MEMS methods and cutting edge 3D printing technologies
- available equipment includes the Nanoscribe 3D laser lithography system which enables the fabrication of minimum lateral feature sizes of less than 200 nm
- candidate is expected to further develop the research in the laboratory and supervise students
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or related fields with excellent academic records.
- Applicant must have strong research backgrounds and solid independent research ability.
- Applicant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
