Postdoctoral Position in Nanolithography: Lund University

Postdoctoral position in nanolithography at the Lund University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Physics on the topic nano-processing using high resolution lithographic techniques, including nanoimprint and block-copolymers.

Project: The research at the division of Solid State Physics is focused around different aspects of semiconductor physics (materials science to quantum physics). The division also leads NanoLund, the major interdisciplinary research environment within nanoscience and nanotechnology at Lund University.

Research Area:

  1. Fabrication of one-dimensional structures (nanowires) have been in the internationally leading position.
  2. Develop methods of high-resolution lithography, which is one of the absolutely important techniques for making devices based on nanowires.
  3. Nanoimprint and block-copolymer lithography for applications.

The goal of the project is to develop and study advanced lithographic methods, which can combine both nanoimprint (NIL) and block-copolymer (BCP) lithography to be used for a controllable growth of III-V nanowires (NWs) for applications in electronic and optical devices.

Qualification requirements

  1. Appointment to a post-doctoral position requires that the applicant has a PhD,
  2. Or an international degree deemed equivalent to a PhD

Additional requirements:

  1. The subject of the doctorate degree should be physics or equivalent with focus on nanofabrication methods
  2. Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
  3. A good ability to develop and conduct high quality research.
  4. Teaching skills.
