Postdoctoral Position: Proteomics/ Hemotology / Oncology: Postdoc Scholar position at the Knight Cancer Institute in the field of Hemotology/Oncology

Knight Cancer Institute at the Oregon Health and Science University is looking for applications for a postdoc position in health services research or a similar discipline. This position will provide an opportunity for strong mentorship in a supportive multi-disciplinary environment, and will be an excellent opportunity to further develop research skills and prepare for a career in academia, government, or consulting.

Duration: This Postdoc position will be for a one (01) year term, renewable for a second and third year, subject to first year productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  1. PhD experience in medical research, health policy research, public health research, epidemiology research, health services research, or related field
  2. Strong writing, quantitative & communication skills Ability to think creatively about research
  3. Able to perform the essential functions of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong training in observational study design and methods (e.g. quantitative health services research, epidemiology)
  2. Experience in the medical literature, or meta-analysis or other systematic review
