The Institute of Applied Geometry at Johannes Kepler University, Linz/Austria, has several openings for postdoctoral research assistants (fixed-term contract for 1 year).

Requirements:

  1. PhD degree in mathematics, computer science, or a closelyr elated field is required.
  2. The working language is English.
  3. Candidates with a strong background in at least one of the fields of Geometric Modeling and Numerical Analysis are encouraged to apply. Expertise on Isogeometric Analysis is particularly welcome.
  4. The research assistants will work in several national and European research projects, which are funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) through the National Research Network NFN ”Geometry + Simulation” and by an European Horizon 2020 ERC Advanced Grant.
