Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) invites applications for a position of Research Fellow in Geography at the Department of Geography. The position is attached to the PhD program in Geography at the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences, and the faculty is an employer.
Duration: 4 years, including one year’s duty of employment.
About the position:
- The selected fellow will primarily work on developing on own research competence.
- Selected fellow participant will participate in teaching that is thematically included under the initiative ‘Innovation and regional change’ and in the teaching of common subjects, such as courses in qualitative methods.
- Guidance of student reports, BA and MA assignments in collaboration with a permanent academic employee is also relevant.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold master’s degree/master’s degree in Geography or equivalent education.
- Applicant must have a strong academic background from the previous study and have a weighted average grade in the last two years of the master’s degree program or equivalent education (equivalent to 120 credits) which is equal to B or better compared to NTNU’s grade scale.
- Applicants must master Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, but the project description can be written in English if desired.
